AN ACT relative to inter-facility transfers of critical access hospital patients.

ANALYSIS

This bill deletes the exception for emergency medical and trauma services to allow certain providers to provide care during an inter-facility transfer of a critical access hospital patient in an urgent situation.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT relative to inter-facility transfers of critical access hospital patients.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

62:1 Repeal. RSA 153-A:16, III, relative to exception for inter-facility transfers, is repealed.

62:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
