STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT requiring the secretary of state to make a report of lands over which jurisdiction has been ceded to the federal government.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Secretary of State; Report on Lands Ceded to the Federal Government. The secretary of state shall undertake a study of lands located within the state over which jurisdiction has been ceded to the federal government. The secretary of state shall identify those lands for which an accurate description and plan has been filed with the secretary of state pursuant to RSA 123:1 and those lands for which no accurate description and plan has been filed. On or before November 1, 2012, the secretary of state shall make a report of his findings and recommendations to the speaker of the house of representatives, the house clerk, the senate president, the senate clerk, the governor, and the state library.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
