HOUSE BILL 1475
AN ACT relative to enforcement of interstate compacts.
ANALYSIS
This bill prohibits state officials from enforcing any provision of an interstate compact which is based on another state’s law or rule which has not been specifically approved by the New Hampshire legislature.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT relative to enforcement of interstate compacts.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Chapter; Interstate Compacts. Amend RSA by inserting after chapter 12-M the following new chapter:
CHAPTER 12-N
INTERSTATE COMPACTS
12-N:1 Enforcement of Interstate Compacts. No state official shall enforce any provision of an interstate compact which is based on another state’s law or rule which has not been specifically approved by the New Hampshire legislature.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2013.
