STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT including owls within the definition of raptor for the purposes of falconry.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Definition of Raptors. Amend RSA 209-A:1, IV to read as follows:

IV. “Raptor” means a live migratory bird of the family Accipitridae[ or], of the family Falconidae, or of the family Strigidae.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
