HOUSE BILL 216
AN ACT relative to the use of the title “fire marshal.”
ANALYSIS
This bill prospectively repeals a session law that will take effect July 1, 2013 and is intended to limit the title of “fire marshal” to the state fire marshal.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT relative to the use of the title “fire marshal.”
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
173:1 Repeal. 2012, 242:4, relative to use of the title “fire marshal,” is repealed.
173:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
