STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT establishing Franklin Pierce Day.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Franklin Pierce Day. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-r the following new section:
4:13-s Franklin Pierce Day. The governor shall annually proclaim November 23rd as Franklin Pierce Day in commemoration of his many accomplishments and service to New Hampshire and his country. Schools are encouraged to commemorate the day with appropriate educational activities.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
