STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT relative to the New Hampshire national guard recruitment and retention scholarship fund and making an appropriation therefor.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Appropriation; New Hampshire National Guard Recruitment and Retention Scholarship Fund. There is hereby appropriated $25,000 to the New Hampshire national guard recruitment and retention scholarship fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, for the purpose of awarding scholarships. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2013.

AN ACT relative to the New Hampshire national guard recruitment and retention scholarship fund and making an appropriation therefor.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Adjutant General’s Department states this bill, as introduced, will increase state general fund expenditures by $25,000 in FY 2014. There is no fiscal impact on county and local expenditures, or state, county, and local revenue.
This bill appropriates $25,000 from the state general fund to the New Hampshire National Guard Recruitment and Retention Scholarship fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014 for the purposes of this act.
METHODOLOGY:
The Adjutant General’s Department states this bill will appropriate $25,000 to the New Hampshire National Guard Recruitment and Retention Scholarship fund for the purpose of awarding scholarships. The Department states this bill may result in 100 scholarships of $250 each.
