HOUSE BILL 1139
AN ACT repealing authority for granting of property tax abatements for watering troughs and shade trees.
ANALYSIS
This bill repeals the authority for selectmen to grant property tax abatements for keeping watering troughs for horses of travelers and for planting shade trees by an adjoining highway.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT repealing authority for granting of property tax abatements for watering troughs and shade trees.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
46:1 Repeal. The following are repealed:
I. RSA 76:18, relative to abatements for watering troughs.
II. RSA 76:19, relative to abatements for shade trees.
46:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
