HOUSE BILL 1182

AN ACT relative to membership of the state transparency website oversight committee.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT relative to membership of the state transparency website oversight committee.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

297:1 State Transparency Website Oversight Committee; Membership. Amend RSA 9-F:2, II(a) to read as follows:

(a) The members of the committee shall be as follows:

(1) [Three] Four members of the house of representatives, appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives.

(2) [Three members] One member of the senate, appointed by the president of the senate.

297:2 Quorum. Amend RSA 9-F:2, IV to read as follows:

IV. The members of the legislative oversight committee shall elect a chairperson from among the members. The first meeting of the committee shall be called by the first-named house member. The first meeting of the committee shall be held within 45 days of the effective date of this section. [Four] Three members of the committee shall constitute a quorum.

297:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
