AN ACT excluding certain leases by fraternal or social organizations from the definition of tenancy.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT excluding certain leases by fraternal or social organizations from the definition of tenancy.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
93:1 New Subparagraph; Actions Against Tenants; Exemption for Fraternal or Social Housing. Amend RSA 540:1-a, IV by inserting after subparagraph (f) the following new subparagraph:
(g) Residential units leased by a member of a fraternal or social organization that provides student housing for a postsecondary institution in a structure owned and operated by the fraternal or social organization.
93:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
