AN ACT relative to exemptions from seasonal weight restrictions on roads.
ANALYSIS
This bill exempts trucks carrying perishable agricultural products from seasonal highway weight limits.
This bill also exempts certain commercial haulers from seasonal weight limits.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT relative to exemptions from seasonal weight restrictions on roads.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraphs; Perishable Agricultural Products; Certain Commercial Haulers. Amend RSA 236:3-a by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraphs:
IV. Trucks carrying perishable agricultural products.
V. Commercial haulers which have contracted with a municipality to address health and safety concerns within the municipality.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
