STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT recognizing the month of April as Genocide Awareness Month.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
181:1 New Section; Observances Proclaimed by the Governor; New Hampshire Genocide Awareness Month. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-r the following new section:
4:13-s New Hampshire Genocide Awareness Month. The governor shall annually proclaim the month of April as New Hampshire Genocide Awareness Month and shall urge cities and towns throughout the state to observe this month in an appropriate manner educating the public about the evils of genocide and commemorating victims of genocide.
181:2 Contingent Renumbering. If HB 1451 of the 2014 legislative session becomes law, RSA 4:13-s as inserted by section 1 of this act shall be renumbered to RSA 4:13-t.
181:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
