STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT relative to insurance coverage for tractors.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

276:1 New Paragraph; Motor Vehicle Liability Policy; Farm Tractor. Amend RSA 259:61 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:

IV. The minimum coverage requirements described in paragraphs I and II and in RSA 264:15 and RSA 264:16 shall not apply to any tractor with a farm tractor registration if an insured, at the insured’s election, purchases a liability policy other than a motor vehicle policy to cover the tractor.

276:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
