AN ACT relative to pharmacy benefit cards.
ANALYSIS
This bill requires health benefit plans issuing pharmacy benefit cards to include the insurance department’s consumer hotline telephone number.
This bill is a result of 2013, 182, the committee to study the regulation of pharmacy benefits managers.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT relative to pharmacy benefit cards.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Managed Care Law; Prescription Drugs. Amend RSA 420-J:7-b, V by inserting after subparagraph (c) the following new subparagraph:
(d) The insurance department’s consumer hotline telephone number.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
