STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT requiring an insurer participating in the health exchange to include access to a hospital in each county of the state.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Health Exchange; Access to Hospital Required. Amend RSA 420-N by inserting after section 8 the following new section:
420-N:8-a Access to Hospitals Required. An insurer participating in the exchange under this chapter shall include access for its enrolled participants to a hospital, licensed under RSA 151, within each county of the state.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
