AN ACT relative to time-based rates for electric service.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to time-based rates for electric service.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Public Utilities; Rates and Charges; Time-Based Rates; Exception. Amend RSA 378 by inserting after section 7-c the following new section:
378:7-d Time-Based Rates; Exception. When a municipality permits a municipal field to be used for a non-profit youth athletic event that is scheduled to commence within an hour of the start of off-peak hours as defined by the electric utility, the utility shall charge the municipality the off-peak rate for the duration of the entire event.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
