STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT establishing the red-tailed hawk as the New Hampshire state raptor.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; State Raptor. Amend RSA 3 by inserting after section 27 the following new section:
3:28 State Raptor. The red-tailed hawk, Buteo jamaicensis, is hereby declared to be the state raptor of New Hampshire.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
