AN ACT relative to contributions by a city or town to the county or state.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

AN ACT relative to contributions by a city or town to the county or state.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

79:1 New Section; Cities and Wards; Contributions to County and State. Amend RSA 44 by inserting after section 1-a the following new section:

44:1-b Contributions to County and State. Each city may, subject to approval by the city council, voluntarily contribute funds, services, property, or other resources toward any county or state project, program, or plan, subject to the annual renewal of the voluntary contribution by the city council.

79:2 New Section; Towns; Contributions to County or State. Amend RSA 31 by inserting after section 103 the following new section:

31:103-a Contributions to County or State. A town may, by vote of the legislative body, voluntarily contribute funds, services, property, or other resources toward any county or state project, program, or plan. Any contribution involving the expenditure of funds under this section shall be subject to the requirements of RSA 32.

79:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
