STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

AN ACT establishing an exotic game license for hunting in a game preserve.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Private Hunting Preserve; Exotic Game Hunting License. Amend RSA 212:25 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III. Any person wishing to take exotic game of wild boar or elk from a hunting preserve permitted under paragraphs I and II or as may be exempted from such permits under special laws of the state, shall make application for and procure from the fish and game department an exotic game hunting license. The applicant shall pay a fee determined in rules adopted by the executive director, and the department shall thereupon issue an exotic game hunting license which shall entitle the licensee to hunt, shoot, kill or take, except by the use of traps, and to transport exotic game taken from a hunting preserve under the restrictions of this title. Any fees collected shall deposited by the executive director of fish and game into the fish and game fund.

2 Fish and Game; Exception. Amend RSA 207:45 to read as follows:

207:45 Exceptions. Nothing in this title shall repeal any special laws of the state relating only to the Blue Mountain Forest Association, provided that any person taking exotic game on the property of said association shall comply with the license requirement of RSA 212:25, III.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2016.
