AN ACT relative to rules of the department of transportation on driveway permits.
ANALYSIS
This bill repeals an exception for rules adopted by the department of transportation from compliance with the procedures of RSA 541-A, the administrative procedure act.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT relative to rules of the department of transportation on driveway permits.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal. RSA 541-A:21, I(g), relative to the exception for RSA 236:13, relative to driveway permits, is repealed.
2 New Paragraph; Highway Regulations; Driveways; Rulemaking. Amend RSA 236:13 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:
VII. The commissioner of transportation shall adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, to implement this section.
3 Rulemaking Required; Driveway Permits. The commissioner of transportation shall propose rules pursuant to RSA 541-A for driveway permits under RSA 236:13 within one year after the effective date of this act.
4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
