STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

AN ACT renaming the North Hampton state beach as the Robert Shaw Memorial state beach.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 North Hampton State Beach Renamed in Honor of Robert Shaw.

I. The North Hampton state beach located in the town of North Hampton is hereby renamed the Robert Shaw Memorial state beach in honor of town resident Robert Shaw who was a 1966 graduate of Winnacunnet high school and who was killed in action in Vietnam in 1969.

II. The cost of signage or other markers placed at the site shall not be a charge to the state. The design, construction, and installation of such signage or markers placed at the site shall comply with the rules of the department of resources and economic development, division of parks and recreation.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
