STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

AN ACT relative to the public utility commission's authority to implement measures to increase the reliability, cost effectiveness, efficiency, or resiliency of the electrical grid.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Limited Electrical Energy Producers Act; Net Energy Metering; Implementation of Measures by Public Utilities Commission. Amend RSA 362-A:9, XI(a) to read as follows:

(a) Waive any of the limitations set forth in this chapter for targeted net energy metering arrangements [that are part of a utility strategy] to minimize distribution or other costs, or to implement measures designed to increase the reliability, cost effectiveness, efficiency, or overall resiliency of the electrical grid; and

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
