AN ACT relative to the season for taking bear using dogs set by the executive director of fish and game.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

AN ACT relative to the season for taking bear using dogs set by the executive director of fish and game.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Wild Black Bear; Rules. Amend RSA 208:22, III to read as follows:

III. Dogs shall not be trained or used for taking bear from baited areas after a date as determined by the executive director in a rule adopted pursuant to RSA 541-A. The executive director shall not establish in rules a season for taking of bear with dogs which overlaps with the season to take bear from baited areas.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
