AN ACT relative to appropriations in petitioned warrant articles.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to appropriations in petitioned warrant articles.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Municipal Budget Law; Budget Preparation. Amend RSA 32:5, V(a) to read as follows:
(a) The article, if submitted by a governing body, shall contain a notation of whether or not that appropriation is recommended by the governing body, and, if there is a budget committee, a notation of whether or not it is recommended by the budget committee; if the article is submitted by petition, no such notations shall be required;
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
