STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

AN ACT relative to alteration of speed limits.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Alteration of Speed Limits. Amend RSA 265:63 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. A governing body may establish a speed limit on a class V highway within the city or town that is lower than the prima facie limit established in RSA 265:60, provided that the limit established under this paragraph shall not be less than 25 miles per hour.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
