STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

AN ACT relative to the use of cloth diapers in licensed child day care centers.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Child Day Care Licensing; Rulemaking; Use of Cloth Diapers. Amend RSA 170-E:11, I(e) to read as follows:

(e) Provisions for food, clothing, educational opportunities, program, equipment and individual supplies to assure the health and the physical and mental development of children served; provided that such rules shall not preclude a licensee from permitting the use of home laundered cloth diapers at the parent's request. A request from the child's health care practitioner and the unavailability of a commercial diaper service shall not be required.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
