AN ACT relative to certain citizens having standing to sue school boards.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to certain citizens having standing to sue school boards.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; School Boards. Amend RSA 189 by inserting after section 1-e the following new section:
189:1-f Legal Standing. A taxpayer shall have standing to maintain a suit at law or in equity against the school board of the school district in which he or she resides.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
