AN ACT relative to honoring E. Maude Ferguson, the first woman elected to the New Hampshire senate.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to honoring E. Maude Ferguson, the first woman elected to the New Hampshire senate.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
176:1 Joint Legislative Historical Committee; E. Maude Ferguson Portrait. The joint legislative historical committee established under RSA 17-I shall give priority to the acquisition of a portrait of E. Maude Ferguson, who in 1931 was the first woman elected to the New Hampshire state senate. The committee shall direct that the portrait be hung in a suitable place of honor in the state house.
176:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
