STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

AN ACT relative to grip height of motorcycles.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

48:1 Handlebars on Motorcycles. Amend RSA 266:77 to read as follows:

266:77 [Grips;] Handlebars. [No person shall drive on a way a motorcycle on which the grips are higher than the shoulder level of the driver when in the seat or saddle.] It shall be illegal to drive a motorcycle with improvised, defective, or repaired handlebars.

48:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
