SENATE BILL 70
AN ACT relative to disclosure of expert testimony in civil cases.
ANALYSIS
This bill requires all expert witnesses to be disclosed, and all reports concerning their testimony to be filed, before any expert witness may be deposed.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to disclosure of expert testimony in civil cases.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Disclosure of Expert Testimony in Civil Cases; Sequence of Disclosures and Reports. Amend RSA 516:29-b, IV to read as follows:
IV. The deposition of any person who has been identified as an expert whose opinions may be presented at trial, and whose testimony has been the subject of a report under this section, shall not be conducted until after such report has been provided. No expert witness shall be deposed until all parties have disclosed their expert witnesses and any written reports required by this section have been issued.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2018.
