AN ACT relative to valid identification to obtain a ballot.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

AN ACT relative to valid identification to obtain a ballot.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Obtaining a Ballot; Identification; Driver's License. Amend RSA 659:13, II(a)(1) to read as follows:

(1) A driver's license issued by any state or the federal government, provided that, if the voter is less than 70 years of age, the license shall have an expiration date that has not been exceeded by a period of more than 5 years.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
