AN ACT removing the limitation on a chartered public school incurring long-term debt.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen
AN ACT removing the limitation on a chartered public school incurring long-term debt.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
372:1 Chartered Public Schools; Authority and Duties of Board of Trustees. Amend RSA 194-B:5, III(h) to read as follows:
(h) [For chartered public schools that have been in operation for 5 or more years,] To incur long-term debt for the purpose of purchasing buildings or land, or for new construction or renovations to existing buildings. The state shall not be liable for any debt or other financial obligation incurred under this subparagraph.
372:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
