AN ACT relative to retention of job applications and personnel files.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

247:247:1 Disposition of Municipal Records; Disposition and Retention Schedule. Amend RSA 33-A:3-a, LX to read as follows:

LX. Job applications-successful: retirement or termination plus [50] 20 years.

247:247:2 Disposition of Municipal Records; Disposition and Retention Schedule. Amend RSA 33-A:3-a, XCVI to read as follows:

XCVI. Personnel files: retirement or termination plus [50] 20 years.

247:247:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
