STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen
AN ACT requiring abutter notice of the construction of a crematory.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
150:1 New Paragraph; Crematory Building and Location Requirements; Notice to Abutters. Amend RSA 325-A:3 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
III. A person intending to construct a crematory shall, upon application for a building permit, provide notice of the intent to all owners of property within 250 feet of the proposed crematory by verified mail, as defined in RSA 451-C:1, VII.
150:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2019.
