AN ACT relative to changes in property assessments.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT relative to changes in property assessments.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Revised Inventory; Change in Property Assessments. Amend RSA 75:8 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
III. The selectmen and assessors shall provide the property owner with written notice of any change in the assessed value of the property made pursuant to this section. Such notice shall include the basis for the adjusted assessment and notice of the appeal procedure.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect April 1, 2020.
