STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT amending the definition of headway speed.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
96:1 Boating and Water Safety; Definitions. Amend RSA 270-D:1, VI to read as follows:
VI. "Headway speed" means [6 miles per hour or] the slowest speed that a boat can be operated and maintain steerage way.
96:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
