STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT requiring code compliance inspection for building permits.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Building Permits; Requirements. Amend RSA 676:11 to read as follows:
676:11 Building Permits Required.
I. After a municipality has adopted a building code, any person who intends to erect or remodel any building in the municipality shall submit the plans to the building inspector for the building inspector's examination and approval prior to commencement of the planned construction.
II. Any municipality that does not perform a code compliance inspection shall be limited to a maximum administrative fee of $25.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
