AN ACT relative to unauthorized occupation of land or structures.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

AN ACT relative to unauthorized occupation of land or structures.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Unauthorized Entries. Amend RSA 635 by inserting after section 2 the following new section:

635:2-a Enforcement of Unauthorized Entry or Occupation. Any unauthorized entry or occupation by a person onto land which is not open space land under RSA 79-A or structures of an owner shall be removable by law enforcement unless the person has written permission from the owner, without regard to whether the unauthorized entry constitutes criminal trespass under RSA 635:2.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2020.
