STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

AN ACT relative to the release of recordings from security cameras in civil proceedings.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Release of Video Recordings. Amend RSA 507 by inserting after section 8-i the following new section:

507:8-j Release of Video Recordings. A private employer shall, upon a request of counsel for a party in a civil action, release recordings made by the employer using electronic, mechanical, or other means, which are not protected from disclosure under state or federal law.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
