STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

AN ACT naming a lake in Meredith as Lake Wicwas.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

88:1 Town of Meredith; Lake Renamed. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the lake along Route 104 in the town of Meredith shall be named Lake Wicwas. Appropriate signage or markers may be placed at or near the lake site.

88:2 Signage. Other than along state-maintained roads, the cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.

88:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
