STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT relative to payment for low-dose mammography coverage.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
226:1 New Subparagraph; Managed Care Law; Provider Contract Standards. Amend RSA 420-J:8, VIII by inserting after subparagraph (d) the following new subparagraph:
(e) Provider contracts that include payment for mammography shall include distinct recognition of and additional payment for industry standard coding relating to mammography screening using 3-D tomosynthesis.
226:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
