STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

AN ACT adding deaf or hard of hearing to the medical conditions that may be indicated on a driver's license or nondriver's identification.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Drivers' Licenses; Form of License; Medically Recognized Disorder Indication. Amend RSA 263:41-b, III to read as follows:

III. For the purpose of this section, [autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or its abbreviation is] the following medically recognized disorders, or their abbreviations, are authorized to be printed on the driver's license or nondriver's picture identification card[.]:

(a) Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

(b) Deaf or hard of hearing.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
