HOUSE BILL 1144

AN ACT requiring certain data to be filed with the department of labor.


AMENDED ANALYSIS

This bill requires an employer located in this state which is required under federal law to file the EEO-1 form with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to submit its Component 2 data to the commissioner of the department of labor. The commissioner shall, upon request, make the Component 2 data available.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

AN ACT requiring certain data to be filed with the department of labor.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Discrimination in the Workplace. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; Required Filing. Amend RSA 275 by inserting after section 41-d the following new section:

275:41-e Required Filing. An employer located in this state which is required under federal law to file the EEO-1 form with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) shall annually submit its Component 2 data to the commissioner of the department of labor upon filing with the EEOC. The commissioner shall, upon request, make the Component 2 data available.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
