STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

AN ACT establishing every 4th Thursday in August as Jamaican Appreciation Day.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Jamaican Appreciation Day. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-z the following new section:

4:13-aa Jamaican Appreciation Day. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation declaring the fourth Thursday in August to be Jamaican Appreciation Day and shall call on the citizens of New Hampshire to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
