AN ACT relative to the determination of parental rights and responsibilities.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
AN ACT relative to the determination of parental rights and responsibilities.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Determination of Parental Rights and Responsibilities; Best Interest; Opportunity for Hearing. Amend RSA 461-A:6 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:
III-a. Upon the request of either party, the court shall schedule a hearing to resolve any issues that remain in dispute regarding the determination of parental rights and responsibilities. Prior to the hearing, the parties shall file and exchange a list of witnesses to be called at the hearing.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
