STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
AN ACT establishing a nursing review subcommittee.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Nurse Practice Act; Nursing Review Subcommittee. Amend RSA 326-B by inserting after section 3 the following new section:
326-B:3-a Nursing Review Subcommittee. There is established a nursing review subcommittee whose members shall be appointed by the board of nursing. The subcommittee shall consist of 9 members licensed by the board and actively working in a clinical setting. At least one subcommittee member shall be an APRN, 2 shall be an RN, 2 shall be an LPN, and 2 shall be an LNA. A member of the board may participate in subcommittee meetings. A quorum shall constitute a majority of voting members who are present. Upon referral by the board, the subcommittee shall review complaints reported to the board under 326-B:37. Following review of each case, the subcommittee shall make recommendations to the board.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
