SENATE BILL 542
AN ACT relative to membership on the professional standards board.
ANALYSIS
This bill changes the membership and term requirements for the professional standards board that advises the state board of education.
This bill is a request of the department of education.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
AN ACT relative to membership on the professional standards board.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Education; Professional Standards Board; Membership. Amend RSA 186:60, I(c) to read as follows:
(c) [9] 3 members representing higher education and 6 members representing education administration; and
2 Education; Professional Standards Board; Terms of Members. Amend RSA 186:60, III to read as follows:
III. The appointed members of the board shall serve for 3-year terms and may not serve for more than 2 consecutive full terms.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
