AN ACT permitting the designation of an open container area for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty One
AN ACT permitting the designation of an open container area for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Designated Open Container Area. Amend RSA 178 by inserting after section 27-a the following new section:
178:27-b Designated Open Container Area. A municipality may establish an outdoor area on municipally-owned property where containers of alcoholic beverages that have been purchased legally may be opened and consumed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
