STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relative to replacement power for net metering customer-generators.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Net Metering Customer Generators; Replacement Energy. Amend RSA 362-A:9 by inserting after paragraph XXI the following new paragraph:

XXII. When a customer-generator of greater than one megawatt total peak generating capacity cannot fulfill export obligations, the customer-generator shall provide replacement power for the grid from a battery or from power purchased from an alternative supplier.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
