HOUSE BILL 1252

AN ACT relative to political contributions made by certain business entities.


ANALYSIS

This bill prohibits any business organization that receives grants from the state of New Hampshire from making any contribution to any candidate or political committee.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relative to political contributions made by certain business entities.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Political Expenditures and Contributions; Prohibited Contributions. Amend RSA 664:4 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. By any person or business entity that has received any grant from the state of New Hampshire in the last 2 years.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
